Reduce Risk of Death by Exercising 8 Minutes a Day

A study of exercise dosage in the Journal of the American Medical Association in 2018 found that exercising vigorously for 8 minutes a day reduced the risk of death. Pretty cool!

We know exercise is important to health. It helps you feel better physically, gives you energy, and helps you deal with the stress of your busy life. Additionally, if you have a sedentary job it can alleviate some of the negative effects from not moving like poor cholesterol and blood pressure.

It’s easy to start skipping exercise, with all the sudden life changes we all have been experiencing. It may makes you feel like exercising less, which leads to a downward spiral. That means that committing to exercise, even during challenging times will ultimately have long term benefits.

Here’s a Plan! Try each of these exercises for 3 rounds of 20 seconds. Take 10 to 20 seconds rest between:

  1. Plank

  2. Push up

  3. Bird Dogs

  4. Bridge

  5. Lunge

  6. Squat

When you are completed you will have achieved the work necessary to reap the benefits of exercise.
