Our program is led by Doctors of Physical Therapy. It is designed for the running athlete to build strength, improve performance, and decrease injury risk. We will de-mystify, clarify and implement a simple and effect exercise system for runners.

Know what you should be doing every day for mobility, and recovery. The mobility program starts June 1st with mobility to get you moving better, heal your injuries, and stay strong for the whole season.

Semi Private Training Details

This is a strength and conditioning focused program intended for high school and college distance runners to enhance their summer cross country training.

Training will focused on mobility and strength exercises. It will be complimentary to your running. Runners who lift weights are faster runners!

We will be teaching the most effective mobility exercises as well as instructing optimal technique for running strength drills like squats, deadlift, farmer carries, etc.

We will meet twice a week in person for 8 weeks for 60 minutes each session. Training will be held at Joe Norton Physical Therapy in Georgetown on Tuesday and Thursday Evenings at 7:30pm beginning on June 20th. Classes will be taught by Luke Cancilla, DPT and Joe Norton, PT, who are both licensed physical therapists and former collegiate cross country runners.

As it will be a small group, you will receive our expertise in a personalized, focused and fun environment.

In addition to small group training, every participant will receive a running focused movement screen and treadmill gait analysis to identify underlying weak links and biomechanical issues to customize a mobility and running form program. Participants will also receive discounted PT sessions which may include manual therapy and dry needling to help with recovery and any aches or pains that may occur all season long.
